Samsung Galaxy S7 Sd Card Not Reading

My SD card was working fine, I transferred some pictures I took from my telephone to the SD card it said it couldn't transfer them all because there wasn't enough space. And so all of a sudden I could no longer come across my SD card. Information technology says no SD bill of fare. I've turned my phone off, took the menu out, pretty much have done everything. Anyone know how to get it to recognize the carte du jour?

Well it depends. It could be hardware in the phone and it could exist the card.

Endeavor the card in another device. If it works in the other device, and shows the files on it, then the trouble lies in the phone. If, yet the other device can't access the SD carte either, and then there is something wrong with the card, and what is on it may well exist lost.

I tried putting the SD card in my kindle and it acknowledged it but said that it wasn't compatible

If it is saying information technology isn't compatible then I would remember at that place is something wrong with the SD carte. Sadly, once they go bad, in that location isn't much y'all can do about information technology. I would try getting a new card.

If they were just regular everyday pictures I would just go a new bill of fare but these are my preemie babe'due south newborn photos

Accept you tried leaving the card in the telephone, then connect the phone to a computer via USB cord and see if the files can be viewed past the estimator that style?

Did you, perchance, have the SD carte du jour set as "Internal" storage on the phone (then information technology could agree apps) or was it left equally the normal "External" storage?
